Eucalyptus lehmannii
Gouldiae has a photo of this tree on his Blog.
E. lehmannii is native to Western Australia. My specimen is in full flower now. It's pretty tough, growing in a stand of Pinus radiata.

The seed capsules resemble a mace or club. These are rock solid!

Great tree for the birds JL, it was one of the first trees we planted. Honeyeaters, parrots and cockies love it.
They certainly do, Duncan. I'm thinking of getting another one.
